Scotland has a rich tradition of the supernatural, from ghosts and ghouls to spooks and spectres.

Scotland’s colourful history features clan battles, hundreds of years of war with England and haunted castles in almost every part of the country.

Tales were told and traditions established. There are stories of the ghosts of those who died in battles or grisly murders, and apparitions that appear at specific times such as the anniversary of a battle, and ghostly sounds that pierce the cold Scottish night. Ghosts have been reported on deserted roads, in venerable theatres and haunted graveyards.

Why not visit some of the haunted locations and do some ghost hunting of your own. If you dare!
